entry

Reached after using the cipher to spell UNMASK, inputting UNMASK into the lock on the statue while wearing the glasses, then climbing down the revealed ladder and opening the door at the bottom.

walkthrough

  • On the floor to the right of the door, take the key from the skeleton's hand.
  • Just above the skeleton on the shelf, take the green Oil Bottle.
  • To the right of the statue, take the Jar of Ink from the shelf; there's also a Wine Bottle on this shelf.
  • To the left of the door, take the Jar of Honey from the shelf.
  • Use the Skeleton Key on the chest with bones on it to get a Photograph and Duster Brush.
  • Use the Duster Brush on the five dusty placards around the room.
  • Read placards I–V in order and find the odd one out in each set: I: Flamingo (flightless) – picture 2; II: Horse (no antlers) – picture 5; III: Sun (not a planet) – picture 4; IV: Hammer (not a blade) – picture 3; V: Recorder (not a string instrument) – picture 5.
  • Pour the honey, the wine, the ink and the oil into the glass jug and note the colour order.
  • Go to the chest on the floor and recreate the colours on the lock to open it; take out the Stone Tablet from inside.
  • Go to the large statue and fill in the blanks using the photo and notes in your inventory. It should read: "In the year 1783, Sameer Gaspard unearthed an ancient Escapist TABLET in GREECE. It showed a method for using BRAINS".
